Consti Plc strengthens its position in electrical installation and maintenance services by acquiring Sähkö-Huhta Oy that operates in Greater Helsinki area

Consti Plc has agreed to acquire Sähkö-Huhta Oy on 30 November 2023. Sähkö-Huhta Oy, founded in 2005, operates in the Greater Helsinki area and specializes in installation, electrical maintenance, and repair work for both new construction and renovation sector.

Sähkö-Huhta Oy had net sales of approximately EUR 5.4 million in 2022. The company employs approximately 40 building technology professionals. Sähkö-Huhta Oy is a company specializing in electrotechnical services, whose extensive service offering also includes lighting design, installation of information network cabling systems, fiber networks and antenna systems as well as solutions for charging electric cars.

Consti’s strategic goal is to grow in the building technology related maintenance and real estate service business. The acquisition will therefore expand and strengthen Consti's expertise, especially in the production of comprehensive building technology related real estate services.

All existing customers and contracts of Sähkö-Huhta Oy will continue unchanged and the whole staff of Sähkö-Huhta Oy will continue to work for the company.

The founder of Sähkö-Huhta Oy, Pekka Huhta, will continue to work as CEO of Sähkö-Huhta Oy and as a member of the management team of the Consti Building Technology business area.
