1KOMMA5° acquires Danish company Viasol and takes a leading position in energy-smart solutions for Nordic homeowners, aiming for a turnover of over 150 million euros in 2023

Helsinki, June 15, 2023 - 1KOMMA5°, Europe's fastest growing cleantech company in green energy, continues its acquisition strategy and makes its first acquisition in the Danish market. Through the acquisition of Viasol, Denmark's leading solar company for solar solutions and home batteries, 1KOMMA5° becomes the leading player in renewable electricity for the residential market in the Nordic region.

Cleantech company 1KOMMA5° specializes in innovative solutions in solar energy, energy management, energy efficiency, and battery solutions. In less than two years, they have established themselves in over 55 different locations in the Nordic region, Europe, and Australia. Last year, they acquired Solar Age as the first company in Finland, entering their second Nordic country. Now, Viasol A/S becomes the first company acquired by 1KOMMA5° in Denmark.

What makes Viasol particularly relevant to the Nordic market is its knowledge of storage and battery solutions, as well as experience in the digital sales journey.

Heartbeat controls the available electricity from the solar system, home battery, or grid when the power is cheap and abundant in solar and wind energy, and connects it to the household's consumption.

With the acquisition of Viasol and the launch of Heartbeat, 1KOMMA5° is leading the way in the green energy industry by optimizing already known green products and initiatives. In this way, 1KOMMA5° drives the development and understanding of the benefits individuals can gain from investing in green energy and thereby contributes to the green transition.
