Radical Health Festival Helsinki concludes with great success, sets sights on next year

Share
The first Radical Health Festival Helsinki, a pan-European health festival, ended on Wednesday after three days of impactful discussions and engaging sessions. The festival explored innovative ideas, technologies, and practices in the field of health and brought together policymakers, health professionals, innovators, journalists and influencers from around the world.

The Radical Health Festival Helsinki 2023 featured a diverse and thought-provoking program, including captivating keynotes, interactive workshops, and engaging panel discussions. The topics ranged from artificial intelligence and healthy aging to mental health and cybersecurity.

"We are thrilled with the success of the Radical Health Festival Helsinki 2023. This event has truly served as a platform for fostering collaboration, stimulating change, and sparking conversations that challenge the status quo," says Pascal Lardier, the Festival's content lead.

Approximately a thousand professionals and influencers participated in the festival, contributing to its vibrant atmosphere and knowledge exchange. Attendees praised the event for its high-quality content and networking opportunities:

"The Radical Health Festival Helsinki has been an exceptional gathering of minds. The festival program has been of high quality, and the exhibition has been vibrant. The event successfully achieved its goal of bringing together professionals and influencers with diverse perspectives on health matters. The most valuable aspects have been the out-of-the-box discussions and connections formed among diverse participants," says Juha Paakkola, Director of Health Capital Helsinki.

One notable aspect of the festival that received significant attention was the inclusion of patients' voices and their presence on stage. This innovative approach aimed to emphasize patient empowerment and a patient-centered approach to healthcare. Additionally, the health ageing track in collaboration with our partner, RSCN, was highly praised for promoting active and healthy ageing through innovation and digital solutions. Together, these initiatives demonstrated the power of partnerships and a holistic approach in enhancing the well-being of individuals as they age.

The festival would not have been possible without the support of its partners, including the European Society of Cardiology, CHIME, Frontiers Health, EHTEL, COCIR, ECHAlliance, Healthtech Finland, Health-ISAC, Health Capital Helsinki, and the city of Helsinki. Over 150 distinguished speakers shared their insights and expertise, offering invaluable perspectives on the future of health and care.

Looking ahead, the Radical Health Festival Helsinki is already planning for its next edition, which will take place in May next year. With an ambitious vision to continue pushing boundaries and driving innovation, the festival aims to create an even more impactful and transformative experience.
