Nordic Yamarin boat collection lands at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

Introducing three modern day cruisers

At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Yamarin is presenting three new, modern day cruisers: the 22 ft Yamarin 67 DC, the 27 ft Yamarin 80 DC and the flagship 29 ft Yamarin 88 DC. 

The new Yamarin 80 DC innovatively combines the best features of a day cruiser and a walkaround. “Our boats have always been very popular in Norway, Sweden and Finland, but the starting point when designing the new day cruiser was that it should also serve boaters in the Mediterranean, Florida and Australia just as well,” Artturi Niittynen says.

The real heart of the boat is its roomy open space, where up to eight people can socialize in comfort. The pantry on the port side is equipped with a stove, refrigerator and sink, as well as good storage facilities. When cooking, the lid of the pantry opens into a handy worktop. The Yamarin Q smart display is an integral part of the boat, as is the Yamaha F300 V6 outboard. 

The new Yamarin 67 DC offers summer fun for eight with equipment and features from larger day cruisers that put the new model at the top of its class. As with all Yamarin boats, the new 67 DC also offers excellent performance. The maximum speed when equipped with a Yamaha 250 hp outboard is an impressive 46 knots.

The flagship Yamarin 88 DC offers plenty of open space and comfort, even for bigger groups, and provides accommodation in two cabins for both day trips and longer journeys. The open space behind the helm has a comfortably cushioned G-shaped seat for 8–10 people and a large table in the middle. The maximum engine rating for the Yamarin 88 DC is 450 hp, allowing customers to choose Yamaha’s most powerful outboard, the Yamaha XTO 450 V8. 

Yamarin Boats: Excellent Handling Characteristics

The Yamarin collection consists of 11 motorboats with GRP construction, all of which are equipped with Yamaha outboard motors. In the Nordic countries of Finland, Sweden and Denmark, Yamarin is especially known for its day cruisers with excellent handling characteristics.

A common feature of all Yamarin day cruisers is their easy-to-use and versatile electronics designed especially for boating. Yamarin's Q multifunction displays with Navionics charts connect to a Yamarin app that enables, for example, automatic tracking of the boat’s location and an automatic logbook.

“The main goal of the Q display is to make the boat as accessible, effortless and easy to use as possible, regardless of how experienced a boater you are,” Artturi Niittynen says. 

In addition to nautical charts and electronic navigation, Yamarin Q contains the boat’s entire instrument panel, user guides and instructional videos, local weather data, a radio and an internet connection. Yamarin Q also integrates seamlessly with the Yamaha outboard and anticipates service needs.
