Scanfil’s customer grandcentrix launched a new asset tracking product
Scanfil’s customer grandcentrix, a Vodafone company, has launched a new tracking device, expanding its asset tracker series. The Asset Tracker Construction is an ultra-rugged GPS tracking device for reliable tracking and monitoring of assets in the toughest working environments, e.g. the construction industry.
Asset Tracker Construction is a product for efficient tracking of goods and assets to ensure the optimal management of machines, equipment, vehicles and attachments in the construction industry, in logistics or agriculture. With the advanced tracking technology, companies can keep an eye on their assets and fleet at all times regardless of the location and area of operation.
“Our new solution offers reliable tracking in harsh conditions with operating temperatures from
-20°C to +70°C. Thanks to its durable structure, it is protected against heavy impacts, dust, mud, pressure washers, and steam”, explains Sebastian Boll, Product Manager at grandcentrix.
This tracker is designed for plug&play. It is easy and quick to install as well as to operate. The mounting options are simple and an integrated and pre-configured SIM card makes the GPS tracker ready for immediate use. It has an attractive price, and the cost-effective entry into asset tracking increases the ROI even for low-value goods and assets.
“Our partnership with grandcentrix started with Modbus Cloud Connect, a versatile IoT gateway especially for monitoring energy consumption by smart metering and submetering as well as monitoring of industrial products and machines. This trusted partnership has continued with the asset tracker series. First, it was the Asset Tracker Solar, and now the Asset Tracker Construction”, says Scanfil’s Global Sales Manager Andreas Bohner and continues, “We are serving grandcentrix from our factories in Malmö and Suzhou. Our partnership has evolved and deepened during the collaboration. We aim to be their preferred partner with the existing product range throughout the product life cycle and in other forthcoming projects. Our partnership is ideal considering our service range and customer focus on industrial customers, and grandcentrix’ needs. We are a perfect match”.
grandcentrix’ new Asset Tracker Construction is one of the most ruggedized trackers on market. Meet the new era of optimization of logistics and supply chain by keeping an eye on your assets.
