Discover Finnish Boating Excellence at Europe's Premier Boat Show

This year, boot Düsseldorf is open to the public from January 18 to 26 daily from 10 am to 6 pm.

With 214,000 visitors from 120 countries and more than 1,500 exhibitors from 67 nations on 220,000 square metres in 16 exhibition halls, boot Düsseldorf is the largest yacht and watersports show in the world. The event is important for both the boating public and industry professionals, who come to Düsseldorf from all over the world to see the hottest new products.

The Managing Director of the Finnish Marine Industries Federation Finnboat, Jarkko Pajusalo, describes boot Düsseldorf as the most important international exhibition in the industry, where the Finnish export sector will make a strong presence.

"At the year's first trade fair, all Finnish companies have new products to showcase, making the event crucial for both consumer marketing and the dealer network," Pajusalo explains.

In addition to the boat show, Düsseldorf will also celebrate the highlights of the boating industry in January with the Motor Boat Awards competition. The awards are widely considered to be the Oscars of the boating world. This year, no fewer than six Finnish boats have been shortlisted for the award. 

All the boats have been sea-trialled and rigorously tested by the magazine’s technical experts, and the winners will be announced in a glittering prize ceremony at Düsseldorf on Tuesday 23rd January.

The Motor Boat Awards are hosted by Motor Boat & Yachting, and the awards are judged purely on the boats’ design, ability and value for money in their chosen market place.

Quarken 

The essence of the Quarken fleet lies in its beautiful simplicity and clean state-of-the-art Nordic design. The fleet consists of models in the 27-35 range with plans to extend the range over 40 feet in future. The Quarken 35 fleet have increased with one new model during the autumn 2024, the Quarken 35 Grand Tourer. Displayed at the BOOT Düsseldorf are the sibling models Quarken 35 Cabin Tourer and Sport Tourer. 

The Quarken 35 fleet is designed, produced and assem-bled in Finland. The hull is manufactured by vacuum infu-sion technology that offers benefits as thickness control of the GRP and quality consistency in the production process.
