Italian baritone and showman Patrizio Buanne charms in Finland's sold-out concerts in February 2025.

Patrizio Buanne, 46, was born in Vienna to a family of Neapolitan parents in 1978. Due to his parents' restaurant business, he traveled between the two historic cities of Vienna and Naples as a child. The Mediterranean capital Naples and the heart of Europe Vienna could not help but influence his multicultural development. In 1997, at the age of 17, Patrizio performed for the Pope (John Paul II) in Wroclaw, Poland, in front of an audience of 85,000 people. Following this, he has had numerous performances on different continents, as well as gold and platinum records with millions of sales worldwide. His debut album The Italian was completed at Abbey Road Studios in London with the accompaniment of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. It was released in 2005 and sold 100,000 copies in one week. During his visit to our country in 2006, Patrizio received a gold record from that release in Finland.

Italian Music Charms Even the Finns

The concerts in February at Helsinki's Kulttuuritalo, Turku's Concert Hall, and Jyväskylä's Pavilion will also pay tribute to artists who brought the world music and Italian music boom to Finland, such as Kari Tapio, Umberto Marcato, Henry Theel, Paula Koivuniemi, and Fredi. For instance, songs like L`italiano, Gli occhi miei (Help yourself), Smile, O Sole Mio, Ciao ciao bambina, You’re My World, Il Mondo, Parla Piu Piano, Surrender, Amigos Para Siempre, Americano, and Come Prima will lift the mood through Patrizio's modern interpretation.
