Kempower launches enhanced Station Charger – extends the company’s next-generation charger platform with Power Module V2

Kempower is proud to announce the launch of enhanced Kempower Station Charger, featuring the state-of-the-art Kempower Power Module V2.  This significant upgrade expands Kempower’s next-generation charger platform, providing superior performance with silicon carbide (SiC) technology.  

The updated Station Charger introduces several key enhancements designed to improve performance, reliability, and user experience. At the heart of this upgrade is the Kempower V2 power module, bringing the latest technological advancements of Kempower’s next-generation charger platform to the company’s already robust charging solutions. The integration of the V2 module has driven the redesign of the Station Charger's cabinet structure, aligning it with the current Kempower Power Unit to provide superior cooling, air filtration, and environmental resistance. 

In addition to the structural improvements, the new Kempower Station Charger includes enhanced energy measurement capabilities. Customers who require precise monitoring of their DC charging operations will benefit from the inclusion of both DC and AC energy meters. This feature ensures accurate tracking and reporting of energy usage, supporting more efficient and transparent energy management.

• Advanced cable handling: equipped with spring-loaded charging cables that do not touch the ground, ensuring they stay clean and easy to handle. Cable lengths range from 4 to 6 meters. 

• Versatile charging options: available in both 500V and 800V versions, supporting a wide range of vehicle drivetrain voltages. Charging power ranges from 50 kW to 400 kW, with options for CCS2, CHAdeMO, and Type 2 AC connectors. 

• Robust and reliable: the charger is built to withstand various environmental conditions, with improved cooling, air filtration, and resistance to external factors. 

• User-friendly installation: the all-in-one design simplifies installation and maintenance, ensuring a hassle-free setup process. 

• AFIR compliant: fully compliant with the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), with the capability to integrate card payment terminals for seamless and secure transactions. The Station Charger can be equipped with the Payter Apollo payment terminal.
