Fingrid’s annual report for 2024 has been published
Today, on 18 March 2025, Fingrid has published its 2024 annual report.
The annual report consists of four separate reports:
- Report of the Board of Directors and Financial Statements
- Corporate Governance Statement
- Remuneration Report
- Fingrid in 2024
The Annual Report is available in Finnish and English on the company website at https://www.fingrid.fi/en/annualreport
Customers and other stakeholders’ interest in the power system, its operations and vision for the future is growing. The annual report provides a clear picture of Fingrid’s operations and results for 2024 and explains the company’s operating practices and future outlook.
For the first time, Fingrid reported in compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The ESRS sustainability report is included of the annual review and financial statements and its information has been verified by an independent third party.
Information on the company’s governance can be found in the Corporate Governance Statement and Remuneration Report.
In addition, as part of the annual report, a free-form review “Fingrid in 2024” has been published, which summarizes the most significant highlight and achievements of 2024.

Fingrid täydentää julkaistua tiedotetta seuraavasti: Osakkeenomistajien nimitystoimikunta ehdottaa, että jo julkaistujen ehdotusten lisäksi Fingridin hallituksen uudeksi jäseneksi valitaan Eeva-Liisa Virkkunen toimikaudeksi, joka päättyy seuraavan varsinaisen yhtiökokouksen päättyessä. Lisäksi ehdotetaan, että Eeva-Liisa Virkkunen valitaan hallituksen puheenjohtajaksi. Eeva-Liisa Virkkunen, kauppatieteiden maisteri, Suomen kansalainen. Virkkunen on Sotkamo Silver Oy:n hallituksen puheenjohtaja, Länsirata Oy:n hallituksen varapuheenjohtajana, Neova Oy:n hallituksen varapuheenjohtaja sekä Robit Oyj:n hallituksen jäsen. On 31 January 2025, Fingrid Oyj published the proposals of the Shareholders’ Nomination Board to the Annual General Meeting 2025. Fingrid supplements the published release as follows: In addition to the already published proposals, the Shareholders’ Nomination Board proposes that Eeva-Liisa Virkkunen will be elected as Fingrid’s new Board member for the term of office ending at the end of the next Annual General Meeting. In addition, Shareholders’ Nomination Board proposes that Eeva-Liisa Virkkunen would be elected as the Chair of the Board of Directors. Eeva-Liisa Virkkunen, M.Sc. (Business Economics), Finnish citizen. Virkkunen acts as a chair of the board for Sotkamo Silver Oy, as a vice chair of the board for Länsirata Oy, as a vice chair of the board for Neova Oy, and as a board member for Robit Oyj. Pohjoismaiset kantaverkkoyhtiöt, sähköpörssit ja Nordic RCC ovat vahvistaneet valmiutensa siirtyä 15 minuutin päivänsisäiseen kaupankäyntijaksoon Pohjoismaiden sisäisillä ja ulkoisilla rajoilla* 18. maaliskuuta (energian toimituspäivälle 19.3.).
