EV Realty’s major truck charging hub featuring Kempower charging solutions opens in California

Kempower and EV Realty are improving access to reliable, scalable charging solutions for fleet operations with the opening of a multifleet truck charging hub in San Bernardino, California. The site features 74 Kempower Satellites and two Kempower Mega Satellites, offering megawatt charging to serve the various needs of medium- and heavy-duty trucks.

MCS capabilities ensure higher charging speeds and operational flexibility for operators. The multimegawatt site provides large-scale infrastructure with up to 9 MW of capacity, up to 1.2 MW for MCS and 500 kW for CCS, a milestone for heavy-duty electrification in North America.

Located on a strategic freight corridor near Interstates 10 and 215, the site was made operational through strategic partnerships focused on driving speed and execution. The site featuring 76 Kempower Satellites, which can charge more than 200 trucks per day, will deliver user-friendly, world-class solutions to fleet operators.

Last month, Kempower, Windrose and EV Realty announced the first successful charge using Kempower’s Megawatt Charging System in North America, completed at the San Bernardino charging hub. The site is available for use and located at 580 W. Mill Street, San Bernardino, CA 92410.
