World’s first sauna in an Observation Wheel opens in Helsinki

The sauna experience will be called SkySauna. "We spent a long time considering the perfect name for this experience. Our goal was to find a name that would best describe the character of this sauna experience with its special location and wonderful views", says Jaron Duivestein and Heikki Häyhä from SkyWheel Helsinki.

In addition to the actual sauna gondola, the sauna experience will also offer a state-of-the-art HotSpring jacuzzi. While the sauna gondola can fit up to 5 people to enjoy the sauna in the sky, other group members can relax in the jacuzzi and enjoy beverages on the ground. The sauna experience is available for groups up to 20 people.

The unique interior of the sauna gondola will showcase Finnish sauna expertise and quality at its best, with both local companies Iki-Kiuas and Sunsauna providing top notch design and materials. The sauna experience will offer a relaxing oasis in the heart of Helsinki with the area being restricted to private groups only.
