Timo Metsälä appointed Property Development Director for Taaleri Real Estate

Timo Metsälä has been appointed Property Development Director for Taaleri Real Estate. Metsälä moves to Taaleri from the real estate investment company Antilooppi Management, where he worked as Property Development Director. Before that, he worked for a long time at the consulting company WSP Finland in various positions.

Metsälä has about 15 years of versatile experience in real estate planning and development and project management. At Taaleri, Metsälä is responsible for the real estate and project development activities provided for the real estate funds and mandates managed by Taaleri, as well as the ESG management of the real estate business. Metsälä has been appointed as a member of Taaleri Real Estate’s management team, and he is also partly responsible for the development of the business and its new investment products. Metsälä will start his position on 10 October 2022.

Taaleri's real estate business includes Taaleri's real estate funds, portfolios managed with mandate-based contracts, and Taaleri's strategic balance sheet investments that support the real estate business. Taaleri has an experienced real estate organization of more than 10 people, whose core expertise covers the entire life cycle of funds and investments from acquisition to exit. The organization currently manages 12 different real estate funds and mandates and their real estate assets of over 800 million euros. Taaleri's newest real estate fund, Taaleri Housing Fund VIII, is in the fundraising phase and has actively made investments during 2022.
