Gofore strengthens its growth in German-speaking Europe – Dr. Marc Fuchs appointed as CEO of the DACH area

Gofore has appointed Dr. Marc Fuchs as CEO of the DACH area, i.e. German-speaking Europe, and member of the Group Executive Management Team. He has taken up his position at the beginning of 2024. Fuchs joins Gofore from the director position of digital transformation consultancy Randstad Digital Germany AG. With this appointment, Gofore strengthens its strategic target to grow in German-speaking Europe. The position is new at the company.
Marc Fuchs (51) is responsible for the company's business and growth in German-speaking Europe. Gofore has 150 employees and offices in 8 locations in the DACH area.
Fuchs has a long and extensive experience in the IT industry in leading German IT and technology companies. He has worked as a Sales, Business and Customer Director and as a consultant, particularly in the digital transformation of the automotive and manufacturing industry.
Prior to joining Gofore, Fuchs was Member of the Executive Management Team of Randstad Digital Germany AG, working as Head of Industries Automotive and Manufacturing. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of NTT Data Deutschland GmbH, being responsible of BMW account of the IT service provider. Fuchs has also worked at Capgemini as Head of Automotive Sales and Aftersales, leading the business in Germany, USA and China.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Natural Sciences at the Technical University of Munich.

Gofore’s Digital Society customers in the DACH area include e.g. the German state railway company Deutsche Bahn, Bavarian Agency for Digital Affairs (Bayerische Agentur für Digitales, byte), Spar as well as a major German federal authority. Intelligent Industry customers include e.g. BMW, Skidata, Voith, AGCO and Bosch Rexroth.

Gofore has been operating in Germany since 2017, as the subsidiary Gofore Germany GmbH was established. After that Gofore has carried out two acquisitions in DACH area: design agency Mangodesign joined Gofore 2019, digitalisation expert and software company eMundo 2022.

Kaupan kohteena oleva liiketoiminta on ennen kaupan toteutusta osa Huld Oy:tä. Huld Oy:ssä on vireillä osittaisjakautuminen, jonka seurauksena tämä liiketoiminta yhtiöitetään omaksi yhtiökseen. Se kattaa teollisuuden ja puolustussektorin fyysisten tuotteiden ja laitekokonaisuuksien suunnittelun ja teknisen dokumentaation ja työllistää noin 120 asiantuntijaa.
Gofore sells product design business acquired with Huld transaction to CoE Group22.6.2026 10:34:08 EEST | Press release
Digital transformation expert company Gofore has agreed to sell the Product Design & Technical Documentation business, acquired last autumn, to the Finnish energy and industry design and consulting company CoE Group. The business being sold is part of Huld Oy before the transaction is completed. Huld Oy is undergoing a partial demerger, after which this business will be incorporated as its own company. It covers the design and technical documentation of physical products and device assemblies for industry and the defense sector, employing about 120 experts.
