Proventia to Develop and Supply Stage V Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems to MAN Engines
Proventia, the Finnish technology company known for its emission control solutions, is pleased to announce a new partnership with MAN Engines, the leading global manufacturer of engine solutions for a variety of applications, including yachts, workboats, agricultural machinery, and power generators. MAN Engines – a business unit of MAN Truck & Bus – has chosen Proventia to be its development partner and supplier for selected exhaust aftertreatment systems for Stage V engines in non-road applications.
The collaboration will focus on the development and manufacturing of Stage V-compliant selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems. The systems will feature Proventia’s advanced NOX reduction and thermal insulation technologies. They are designed to meet the stringent mechanical, operational, and durability requirements required under harsh conditions of agricultural machinery.
“Proventia’s expertise, competence, and ability to develop and supply advanced SCR systems for non-road engines were key factors in our decision. We are confident that Proventia's solutions will not only help our engines meet regulatory standards but also contribute to improved fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions”, says Werner Kübler, Head of Engineering MAN Engines.
“MAN Engines is a globally renowned manufacturer, and we are honoured to be selected as their Stage V emission control partner for one of their engine applications. We are committed to ensuring the success of this project and look forward to fostering further cooperation and business opportunities between Proventia and MAN Engines”, says Jari Lotvonen, President & CEO, Proventia Group.
